On the one hand, the Doctor not wanting to have to reveal to her friends why the homicidal psychopathic alien recoils at the mention of her name is so very fitting to her character, but on the other hand, how powerful would it be to have even just one companion see the Dalek recoil, see the Doctor’s smile, and understand that below the playful and hopeful exterior lies an Oncoming Storm.

You could just feels Thirtheen being this close to unleash the Oncoming Storm in her when she looked at the Dalek and say “Now do that again to my face.” after the Dalek laughed at her in the “Resolution” episode.
