The young Bilbo is forced to leave his beloved Shire, for his father got a new position at his job. Therefore, the whole Baggins Family must move to a city in the east of Middle Earth - the city Dale.
His opinion on cities and their folk is very low, so he is not content about this adventure he must take.
Leaving his home behind pains him even more after his terrible first days at school. Especially his classmate named Thorin confuses him alot with his erratic behaviour - but just when Bilbo thinks that this will be the worst year of his life, things suddenly start to change.
