Unida is just another example of a first rate band getting skullfucked by major label bureaucracies, infighting and "mergers."  I could never understand why taking "Def" out of the name of Def American Recordings once "def" became mainstream was done for anti-establishment reasons, but they let suits at their new parent company play tastemaker and snuff out artists on the American roster like Unida who had records completed and ready for release.

If there was any justice Unida would have climbed the charts alongisde Queens after the demise of Kyuss. This one is off the release on Kozik's Man's Ruin and - like most of the label's back catalogue - fetches up to 10x it's original price on Ebay. All this while The Darkness' Permission To Land which "rocked" so hard eight years ago sells for $0.01 + S/H.  At least the market still knows how to regulate itself.
