Back in January, I wrote a fantasy story set in India, where a Norse troll feeds on dwarfs who immigrated from Viking country. It was in response to a prompt from Spellbound magazine. Spellbound couldn't accept the story, however, because it was about six thousand words above the limit. So I've been shopping it around.

One magazine said that the Norse and Buddhist elements weren't well-integrated, and that the troll's motivations weren't solid. 

Today . . . Outposts of Beyond has accepted Mushroom Thumb! The editor has actually read some of my pieces before, so I'm squealing.
