One of them is a tall Shadow Person and the other one is a short Dwarf (who may actually be an alien). Their respective species are currently at odds with one another due to past conflicts. It's representative of two of my favorites tropes: Tall/small and enemies to lovers.
Honestly, I always thought it was funnier how the Dwarf dislikes being given cave carrots despite seeming to ramble on about them fondly in one of their dialogues. Then again, they -could- have been being sarcastic because they have to eat them so often?..
i like to think that’s sarcastic just because i love picturing them saying,
“wow. cave carrot stew, cave carrot roast, cave carrot soup. all those carrots. i love carrots.” in the most deadpan voice possible

I am yes, but like Transformers, they’re just not things I personally watch (I don’t like just watching episodes Jeff has voiced in because they’ll be so devoid of context and I’ll have no idea what’s going on) and since this blog is mostly visual, I’m somewhat less inclined to post screencaps from cartoons where you don’t see the man himself.

One of them is a four-armed alien warrior princess who is only in four episodes and the other is an alien mummy (as in a literal bandaged mummy, not a mother) criminal who is only in, like, two episodes (with a cameo in a third).

Adding to your catalog of Dwarvish words here. I've found that the language has a there/their/they're thing going on, but with the word, "the." "Doo," is "the" if it's anywhere in the body of a sentence. "Vhu" is "the" if it's the very first word of the sentence. Found this in the Stardew Valley section of the Chucklefish Forums, general discussion, Dwarvish Grave Translation, page 11. (Can't link in asks lol)
