Rory Williams | Doctor Who | Human | Nurse | Arthur Darvill | Open
Then:
Rory became a companion of the Doctor along with Amy before they got married. He’s always been smitten with Amy and would do anything for her, including waiting 2,000 years for her to get out of the Pandorica. Rory always ended up back with Amy, despite what they go through, and he is beside her until the very end. His story is intertwined completely with Amy’s as he continues to travel with The Doctor and Amy through time and space. Eventually, they reach New York when it is being taken by Weeping Angels. He ultimately has to choose his path with the angels because he knows he will not survive, and though he chooses to let Amy live her life, Amy refuses to let him go without her. They get separated by the Weeping Angels, but Amy, as usual, found her way back to Rory in the end, even in a different era.
Now:
When Amy is pulled through time to London, Rory is dragged right along with her, greatly to his displeasure. Though Rory hadn’t been in his home town or in his time era, he was content just living a simple life with Amy, the way he had always planned. When he first learns they are in modern day London, he is just as excited as Amy, but as the two of them discover more about their time jump, he becomes increasingly unhappy. It also doesn’t help that Amy is reunited with The Doctor, who he is very well aware that Amy has always been remotely attracted to him. He follows Amy as she happily rediscovers London, but for how long he can keep quiet, he is unsure.
Relationships:
Friendships – Eleven is Rory’s only consistent friend, but he makes other temporary friends on his travels.
Family – Rory has been close to his dad since the very beginning, and we later learn about his relationship with his daughter, Melody Pond/River Song.
Enemies – The Weeping Angels are by far Rory’s biggest enemies, but some others are Madame Kavorian and the Silence.
Potential Romances – He is in love with the one and only Amy Pond.
