Headcanon: Jek’s Child

Name: Jasper

Physical appearance: Shoulder length brown hair

Personality: Outgoing, war freak, slightly too overconfident about his abilities, a hatred for his mother

Headcanon Backstory: 

While in Jek’s custody, Ritsuka got in the vampire’s nerves. Triggering his violent side, Jek relentlessly beat up the girl for daring to try and kill him. Overwhelmed by his rage, he didn’t just hurt her but also scarred her for life by violating her. Leaving her spent and worn out, little did he know that a child was conceived.

Weeks after Lindo and Rem was able to retrieve her, Ritsuka started to have morning sickness, mood swings and missed an expected period. Fearing that she was pregnant, she decided to wait a little longer to make sure. But as weeks passed, Lindo started to take notice of Ritsuka’s growing tummy and had her checked. No doubt it was a child growing inside her. Rem and Lindo highly suggested that she have the child aborted but Ritsuka, having high respect for life, refused. Although it pained the two about this, Ritsuka requested for at least to let Jek have the child instead. Months dragged on by and the fetus was slowly crushing her from the inside out. The growing child in her was excessively feeding on her body’s nourishment. Before her body collapses, her water broke and was sent to the hospital.

Once giving birth to Jasper, Ritsuka did not have the opportunity to see the baby as she had lost consciousness midway. With the considerable damage bearing the child inflicted on her body, she woke up a couple of days after with Lindo and Rem staying right beside her in a hospital room. Asking for the baby, they said that Jek had already claimed his son soon as he was ready to go.

Jek raised Jasper on his own without a single regret. He knew it was better off without the meddling of insignificant people who will only be a nuisance to nurturing a hatred for humans, devils and of course, his own mother.
