I feel like if you get it shorter on the sides the top fluff might look more intentional but short of that I say invest in a generic hairspray or gel, that’s what I use when my hair does that
ye i’ve got product rn. i have it short at the back but need to keep it this long on the sides, planning ahead for as it grows out and needs different sorts of styling. plus not much wiggle room at this length so the sides are too fiddly to trim myself and be sure it’d look presentable
