i have no idea lol

it's hard to tell, especially because while i have a general idea of where i want to go, i don't know how long it will take me to get there.

but oh my god guys, i can't wait for the plot to get going.

Oh my gosh it's only 67 days?? AHHH I remember it was over 100!! Time is flying kind of quickly but also I wish it would go faster and school would just be OVER, I feel ya there. I can't wait to meet you and Molly tho!!!!

Yep! I'm so so excited. My senioritis grows with each passing day, and I keep finding myself making decisions based on the fact that I'm going to bE IN DISNEY IN JUST OVER TWO MONTHS AND IM INTERNALLY SCREAMING AND SO SO EXCITED. Ok, I'm ok now. I'm just super duper excited.

67 Days

So, the countdown has been on for a while, and now I'm at 67 days so I figured it's time for an update. In about a week I'll get to schedule my classes for the DCP, I haven't decided yet if I want to take a class, after this whole college thing is over I'm kinda over the whole idea of classes, but I loved my Entertainment PDS so much last time that I kinda want to take it again, good thing I have a week to decide.

I've found two amazing roommates- mollicles and dwellingondreamsforgettingtolive and  and we're working on possibly looking for a couple more. I can't wait to meet these girls in person, I think were all going to get along really well and it's gonna be so much fun getting to know them.

I've booked my flight for Jan 11, I check in on the 12th and I'll be ready to start my second big adventure in the happiest place on earth, now I just gotta get that pesky passing classes and graduation thing out of the way.

The first part of your story was SOOOOOO AWESOME AHHHHHH. I'm super stoked to read the rest. When I first read the summary bit I thought the two leads were going to get together, detective/criminal romance, but I think you said earlier you were going in a different direction, so I already have no clue which I LOVE haha keep it UPPPPP!!!!

I am so glad you liked it! With an ensemble cast, it can be hard to balance ships and characters, but I think you guys will like where it goes, at least romantically speaking. To me, relationships (platonic and romantic) can really inform what characters do, and so the plot is really going to be relationship/character-driven. 

There is definitely going to be a strong connection between Chiyo and Jules, though. 

The second part is almost finished, and I've already started part three, so unless something goes wrong, I should be updating fairly regularly.

Can I just say I'm really, really excited for your Nano story. I'm sad you didn't go with the first idea but I like this one even better and I'm so stoked to read it!!

Yay! I love a good adventure story and yours just sounds so good, I can’t wait!! And yay prequel, love a good backstory.

It'll be in several parts, one for each main character. 

Pandora, on why she goes to Egypt

Sauda, on learning she is a diviner

John, on his life before the jinni

Fayrus and Batul, on their falling out and habits as jinn

Leila, on the murder of her lover Hadia and her journey to seek out Fayrus

I don't think I'll be giving too much away. I've already started Pandora's story--it's probably the least spoiler-y of them.

I think Fayrus and Batul might be the hardest to write because A) jinn are not in my culture so it's gonna take a ton of research lol and B) I haven't decided how they are related yet. Might be lovers, besties, sisters. I am not sure. And to be frank, I haven't spent enough time on their stories to really feel secure where I'm going to go with their backstory. All I know is that they must at some point fall out with each other.

obviously it's not gonna count towards nano but I can't really wait to get to know these characters so lol
