Our Sony C-48 just got a new capsule installed by @pelusojohn - so happy to have this gorgeous sounding #microphone back in action! Particularly great on male #vocals #acousticguitar or any source with low midrange energy. Thanks to a custom Jensen transformer it’s both punchy and tight on low midrange but with an incredibly open and unhyped top end. One of the best in our arsenal. First #mastering project on @steinbergmedia #wavelab10 where I’m using our @hazelriggindustries #dwfearn VT-7 tube compressor as an “external effect” plugin. #nuendo had this feature for ages but it’s new in Wavelab. It’s nice to be able to place it on the master buss just before #ozone9 Between the VT-7, Wavelab, @lynxstudiotechnology converters and @pmcspeakers_pro speakers mastering is a joy!
