NaNoWriMo - The End!

Her heart, a traitor if she’d ever known one, skipped slightly when she noticed he was making his way over to her out of the corner of her eye. He was holding onto a guitar and apologies for being late were spilling from his mouth as he took the seat beside her. The skin of her cheekbones burned from something other than the camp fire before her as he greeted her with a soft “Hey.”

Week Four Word Count - 17,412

Overall word count…..44,014! As much as I’m a little annoyed I was so close yet so far I need sleep! I’ve pouted, I’ve been on rolls, I’ve avoided my laptop like the plague on days but I’ve had so much fun! I’m blaming the fact that I’m not actually sure how to end the story as to why I haven’t reached 50k, so I’m going to take a step back and think about it :)
