some of y'all won't like it but dane dehaan is the improved leonardo dicaprio for sexy people. my man is still far too underrated for repeatedly standing the test of time as a character actor. always gives us an exercise in psychology, brings on substance even with a less boisterous filmography, doesn't rely on flashiness to show emotion, blends into movies believably because he's a natural but still draws your attention every second, he's in all our favorite flicks e.g. oppenheimer - place beyond the pines - spidey, has hot vintage photos and still didn't surrender to twink death, has a wife his exact age wow i know, no weirdo bs just dane being a normie but he can still pull off intense horror/scifi/evil roles, never bores on screen, bagged a movie with rihanna, his name is always bigger than his characters' names which is the #1 tell-tale sign of a great actor just like in peak old hollywood (one says "i saw this rita hayworth/cary grant movie", not the name of their role, just like you cannot name 80% of dane's alter egos), levi ackerman haircut, perfect blend of sexy and cute, the fuck-me-eyes... like he just needs a bit of concealer or forehead contour and we're good but other than that can dane be clocked in any way? no wonder he isn't in more blockbusters because if the central cast sees him arrive even for a supporting role they will pack their amateur pretty privilege bags. no wonder he doesn't have a flood of stans because the way he suffers and gets stripped to the bone of reality in his "arrogant to raw" roles is only for us tops and people with taste. dane dehaan is in the same lucid category as logan lerman and bill skarsgard to me tbh when he appears on screen i bend forward and i cannot be stopped
