It wasn't long before Candice and Houston decided to get engaged just before the start of the next school year for Candice.
After the wedding, Rosette and Dwight went over to the Fields' home to take their wedding pictures which turned out well.
At the Grove household, Dwight decided that it was time to propose to his beloved Rosette though they decided to wait until after her upcoming 35th birthday to marry. Though the timing of their engagement ended up coming just a few days before Dwight's sister, April announced that she and her girlfriend had eloped and were expecting. So Wren and Maira were delighted at the joyous news the year had brought their family.
With the children growing up, Diamond was starting to think about giving Walter a sibling while Rosette and Dwight were seriously considering the future of their relationship as things were getting more intense between them.
Rosette began to re-enter the dating scene with Dwight Grove who happened to be Josh's oldest nephew. It felt a little odd to her to get involved with him given the relation to her brother-in-law but considering how well they got along, she dismissed it and let things progress naturally. It wasn't long before they made their relationship official.
