Chihaya was immediately smitten with her daughter though Victoria couldn't help but be a bit disappointed that the child was human and not a vampire like her.
Chihaya and Victoria have been enjoying each other's company in Forgotten Hollow for basically all of Victoria's pregnancy when their closeness was forcibly separated by labor pains.
After finding out that Victoria was pregnant, Chihaya talked it over with her sisters about what to do next. Chizuru was skeptical that Chihaya was the mother of the kid and Candice was stressed at the idea of her sister leaving. Ultimately, Chihaya decided that it would be best for her to move in with Victoria for the time being at least until the kid was here and see how things panned out after since if it was her kid, she didn't want to miss a thing about them.
Ryder supported his daughter though he was also more convinced that his grandchild was his daughter's kid. Still the house was always open to her.
With the date being a bust, Chizuru, Chihaya and Marigold decided to go to a talent show in Oasis Springs. Though their activity didn't last long as Marigold left for prom shortly after.
Only a few 'dates' made it far enough to come to the house, though Chihaya did enjoy the company of a cute vampire named Victoria she wasn't convinced that she was long term relationship material since she was both evil and jealous, not things the family oriented Chihaya could reasonably see working out for a length of time but the friendship was nice.
Chihaya was enjoying flirting around online since she and Anastasia weren't exclusive.
With their birthdays happening so close together, all the young ladies of the household decided to change up their style now that they were adults. Though Candice was upset to learn she had grown into her lactose intolerance, Chizuru's love of food preparation made her quite the perfectionist while Chihaya's love for her family only grew making it one of the most important priorities of her life.
The younger Fields' twins celebrated their 18th birthday, joy multiplied as Chizuru's acceptance letter came in just a few days later.
