Bit by a Dead Bee, Pt. II by Foxing. First song in one of my three Prowl playlists, and it took every fiber of my being not to put the first song ahead of it (it is "part one" for a reason), but it was worth it.
I have no clue as to what music you enjoy, or if you listen to any at all. I listen to a slew of genres, so there is also...
Hell and You by Amigo the Devil, which makes me think of your Dance with the Devil series.
Obsession by Sir Chloe is Mesothulas, naturally... Curious if we will get more of him in the series; always found him intriguing and you captured his character wonderfully.
Lastly: If I Ever Fall In Love by Shai. A Jazz song. Probably not a Dance With The Devil Jazz song, but a song for him nonetheless.

hell and you- people think we're bad and maybe we are, but i don't care if it means i get to stay with you. a little irreverent but also aware of how people look at you/your actions and just. wanting a little bit for yourself in the middle of it, and hoping the target of the song is willing to let the singer in, because the singer would do Anything and just. augh. aughghghghg
obsession- dissonant Just slightly and a little meandering as thoughts just go along wandering paths and it all comes back to i want more, i always want more, "it's never quite enough" and. and ending on a circling loop because it is obsession, after all, and that means being stuck in it and maybe not minding and.
and the Harmonies in if i ever fall in love- the tension and resolution of the "you" at "just like you" got me Every time and. the obvious layer of "if" i fall in love on top of "i knew you were the one" and just. loving the target of the song so deeply but fully believing it cannot ever be reciprocated, and never once asking for a chance (second chance?) and just

i've got a 40 ish song playlist (the exact entries keep fluctuating because i'm an inconsistent bastard) for dwtd stuff- some are just Vibes that make me think of the setting but some are more specific. i think you can find the whole thing since it's marked public- i remember something about tumblr being weird about links- but searching youtube for "dwtd jazz prowl" filtering for playlists should probably bring it up. username there rainfallraven.
aviva's rabbit hole, jacob banks's monster, both very dwtd jazz songs. nothing but thieves's if i were you and grandson's dirty both very dwtd prowl. lots of overlap between jp stuff in some of the other stuff on that playlist, some other songs are very one or the other, some are more general setting vibes.
