If all of the dances in your dwts au were dances that already exist, which ones would you put and where?

Originally in my AU that was the plan. in my outline I have separated what themes/dances would be in each part and each of them have an existing dance listed next to them. But now that I have had some more thought to it, I am starting to change the idea into possibly different ideas/still using similar or the same themes that have been on the show but doing different styles for a song that was used, and other ways of making differences.

But I will show you my original plan and what dance I think Adelaide and Tobias would have essentially danced based on actual dances from DWTS.

Can you tell which team/celeb inspired this. But honestly I have changed a lot of these since.

Draco's weight in Harry's arm was somehow a comfort among all the bright lights. The booming of the music in time with the rapid beating of his heart in time with their sharp steps.

Whenever they're like this, their bodies moving in perfect sync, it's easy to forget how much they hate each other's guts and how different they are off-stage.

Yet, when Draco turns to him, his outfit scintillating and the way Draco himself sparkles in the spotlight makes Harry understand his namesake. He's the real star here, deserving to be in the sky itself. Then he flashes Harry a smile; he can't help but be mesmerized. It wasn't even a smile, more of smirk—one corner of his mouth upturned to reveal a flicker of opalescent teeth. But Harry could tell it was a smile by the soft corner of his eyes. The sparkle in soft silver eyes beaming at him with pride. Of himself. Of Harry. Of them, together. An improbable partnership between two stubborn individuals that turned out to be perfect for the stage.

Hand-in-hand as they receive their award, Harry's heart skips a beat. Whenever he's near Draco, it becomes harder and harder to remember he's supposed to hate him.

I’m proud of my draft DWTS AU so here’s a little snippet.

“I dunno, Buck, it feels very…” “Intimate?” Buck guesses, “that’s because it is, Eddie. That’s literally the point.” 

“But do we have to be…” eddie gestures between the, mimes pressing his hands together in a prayer position. Buck raises his eyebrows, “Dick to dick? Yes, Eddie. Unfortunately we do have to be dick to dick.”

Eddie’s jaw drops, his cheeks flushing. Buck can’t help but laugh, “You know, for someone who came out on national television you’re awfully repressed.” Eddie shoots him an unamused glance. “I am a normal amount of repressed for a former army medic, from Texas, who just happened to come out on national television at the age of 30.” Buck smiles good naturedly, “Okay, that’s a fair point. Let’s maybe go back to the basics. C’mere.” 

Eddie approaches him cautiously, stops a few feet away from him. Buck rolls his eyes, waves him closer. Eddie moves forward, stops about a foot away. “Okay, before we go -“ He mimics eddie’s hand motion from earlier, hands in prayer position in front of his chest, “let’s just start with learning each others faces.” Eddie looks skeptical. Immediately closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and on the exhale opens them, his brown eyes roam around bucks face before they connect with Buck’s blue ones. “There he is.” Buck says under his breath, a smile in his voice.

Eddie’s body is filled with tension. He breaks eye contact to look at bucks eyebrow, the pink mark that brackets his brow perfectly blends into the lid , Buck notices his eyes have caught on it. “It’s a birthmark.” Eddie makes eye contact with him again jarred by the sound of Buck’s voice between them, buck smiles softly, Eddie’s eyes drop to his lips, take in the curve of the smile, the blonde stubble on his chin, the acne scars on his cheeks.

It’s a good face he thinks, a kind one, a handsome one.

When he looks back into Buck’s eyes they look…darker. Buck looks more serious, considering almost, Eddie frowns,  wondering what prompted the change in mood and Buck suddenly takes a step back. At some point they must have drifted closer without realizing it. Buck clears his throat, when he looks back up his eyes are clear again, face relaxed “See that wasn’t so bad, you didn’t burst into flames at any point.” Eddie huffs a laugh, “So now we move to step two..." he holds out his hand, Eddie hesitates, then takes it.

please do part 3 of dancing with stars

Hey! So I will get to finishing my DWTS AU. But not anytime within the next month or so as I am in college with lot of script/essay/project deadlines coming up.

I also am kinda stuck on one part in part 3 so that is also slowing me down.

So part 3 will be up as soon as I can get it done and edited.

Not a dwts fan but a strictly one (so close enough) and I see dwts clips on tiktok, and I'm in love with the carcar au it's utterly scrumptious. And the public would vote them through anyways. Also idk if it happens in dwts but them falling in love is what in the UK is called the strictly curse.

oooo yes i have dabbled in strictly but i am an american, so of course dwts is more available to me.

and yessss the public would keep saving them from the bottom two and Carlos would be so mad because he just wants to be done with this whole stupid thing already but now he has to go in for another horrible week of dance practice.

Dating between couples happens in the US version too! (my girl britt just got married to her partner from a few seasons ago 💛) love that it's called a curse in the uk version

I like to think that the producers of the show would loooove a romance between their first gay partnership, so they're constantly giving them romantic songs and dances and asking Carlos leading interview questions like "so is dancing with someone like Oscar distracting at all to you??" and it drives Carlos up the wall.

A lot of this story would be Carlos figuring out what it means to just be Carlos. Because he was Carlos the Ferrari Driver for so long, and now the DWTS producers are trying to make him out to be Carlos the Out and Proud Gay Icon, and Oscar's trying to turn him into Carlos the Dancer-- but what if he's something in between?
