This is the first time in a while that I enjoyed all of the freestyles in one season. I truly love that everyone played to their strengths and the dances were centered around the celeb and their style of dancing and their roots. It reminded me of the old freestyles especially those of the single digit seasons.

I went back and forth on Kel a lot. He lasted longer than I originally thought he would, but he really stepped up these past few weeks. Out of the final four I thought he was going to win. Second place isn’t bad for him, I think he made a great progression throughout the show. I must admit that I wasn’t thrilled about his freestyle choice when the dance first started, but the end was truly something great and nothing like we’ve seen on the show before. I think he should’ve gotten a perfect score like the other freestyles. He and Witney were great pairing and I’m glad they at least got second.
