                                                He gazed gently at the trickster,                                not minding the pale digits trailing through his flaxen hair;                                     only returning the favor with a gentle brush of                                               calloused fingers in ebony locks.

                    Loki was admittedly surprised with the gentle                  ease of this sudden affection---he met his brother's                   gaze with a flash of vulnerability. Soon enough,                      the trickster averted his eyes and focused on                         the blonde strands that contrasted his pasty-                             colored fingers.             ❝....Your hair has gotten long.❞                         He murmured the words so quietly, as if he                     feared his voice would fracture the fragile air                       between them.
