#dyicad2018 Day 55 #circuit or #network I went with the idea of networking and human connections on this one, and it didn't turn out as expected. I thought about starting over, but sometimes the impacts we have on others are unexpected too, so I decided to go with it. I used #acrylicink in #glossmedium, and liked how it looked when I set it to dry (second pic), but as it sat the colors bleed into each other. Life is like that to - we start to take on the attributes of those around us. The lesson is to surround yourself with those who can bring out your best, and to limit time with those who would spread their hatred or negativity. #resist #saynotohate #yourbigotryisnotbenign

Day 53 had the prompt #cassettetape which made me think of the mix tapes of my youth - many with songs recorded off the radio, and later, when I had a 2 deck cassette recorder, made from my friends' tapes. One of my favorite parts of making a mix tape was making a collage cover, so that's where I went for this one.
