The world is ending. Bound together in slumber, we dream as we die. -- The reason time seems so weird since 2012 is because the world ended and this is a shared dying dream.

i am currently a depressed mess because i'm realizing that i will never be able to accomplish the one thing in life i really want....
how sad is that....
I feel like poetry is a dying art. Back in the day poets were respected and people read poems more but now it's like no one bus poetry books and there are hardly any modern day well recognized poets. It's a shame, I feel like poetry is the only at form I can do well.
A new dream:
Last night I dreamed about having a staph infection and being sure I was going to die.
Like that girl in Oregon or that other girl in Georgia. Both places I have lived in real life.
Limbs would need to be amputated. I wanted to call people I loved to tell them goodbye but I knew they wouldn't have the time to come see me in person before I died so I didn't want them to bother.
Because I knew anyone I loved who loved me back, would make an effort to come and see me before I died. I think this was a dream about trying to stop other people from doing what they wanted because I was convinced I already knew how everything was going to turn out.
So why bother.
Why bother?
Before I went to bed last night, I saw a picture of a friend's new tattoo.
It was swollen, maybe seemed infected.
I worried about his skin.
I don't have any tattoos.
Was always afraid if I got one, I wouldn't be able to stop.
It would become an addiction.
Sometimes I wonder if tattoos actually say anything about anyone.
Or if bare skin does.
I can't tell.
I just want to control the way you see me, I guess.
I guess I guess I guess I guess.
You know what'd be cool?
You know what'd be a cool thing? If the (is it still rumored) Jonas Brothers World Tour 2012 was actually for real! You know what'd be a cooler thing? If there was a date set for southern California! You know what'd also be a cooler thing? If I actually do take another vacation to California next summer! You know what'd be the coolest thing? IF I FREAKING WENT TO A JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT.
Like... really. It's only been my dream since I was like 12 years old. And I'm 18. And if I went, I would die because there wouldn't be enough oxygen in the world to provide me with. Even if I don't listen to them much anymore, or follow them like I used to, or love (I mean obsessive love) them as much as I used to, I'd still pay hundreds of dollars to just see them in real life.
No joke.
