Population and Sample
- The focus of the study would be the Assumption Antipolo old girls, from batch 2018 and 2019. They are the chosen target population because the proponents believe that the current graduates have a more accurate response due to the fact that they have graduated just recently. Because they are still transitioning, they may have retained previous experiences and acquired values from their stay in Assumption Antipolo. The proponents used the non-probability, purposive sampling in gathering our sample population. 40 respondents, who previously studied in Assumption Antipolo during the school years 2017-2018; 2018-2019, were collected from the various universities and colleges in the Philippines.
Instruments and Methods of Data collection
-For this research a questionnaire containing 12 close ended questions were used, particularly the Semantic differential scale to identify the effects of Assumption Antipolo’s learning environment on students in comparison to their college environment; a dichotomous question to know whether the qualities and experiences they gained from highschool had an effect on their participation in college; and a multiple choice question to know what positions and activities they engaged in during highschool that prompted them to participate in college. In addition we used rank order questions to determine how the students, in both highschool and college, allot their level of priority according to the following activities : student council, varsity, arts and academic week, extracurricular activities, extracurricular competitions, fair core, college organizations, and others specified.
