✰ ❛ the calm before the talk. ❜
when work was over there was only one thing the blonde wanted to do and that was get back home, not only because work was feeling like a waste of her day but also because getting home meant being around dylan. it was crazy to think that everything that had been said between the pair had happened but since that day no matter the one thing she was hiding she felt as if she could be happy, be happy knowing she could love him and not feel as if it was wrong to love her best friend. quickly heading up the stairs once in the building her mind was firmly on just getting home and getting out of the clothes she’d been in all day. the dress she was wearing although practical for the field she worked in, was not the most comfortable and really all she wanted to do was be out of it and in sweats or something casual. unlocking the door she quickly walked in shutting the door behind her dropping her keys to the side by the door and bag to the floor, she breathed in deeply by just walking in the door she felt a little more relaxed. slipping the black heeled shoes off she looked around, not spotting Dylan straight away she walked closer to the couch, “Dyl?” she questioned still looking around. “Are you here?” she added, hoping to hear his voice as she tried to grab at the zip on the back of her dress to undo it so she could go change, but struggling to as her focus was more on knowing if he was there.
