We're on ArtFight again :] you can find us here
the stars are so beautiful tonight despite the tragedy around us. a shame they've been ruined for you.
I decided to draw Kaisey with his little lass Fluffy (featuring a metamorphosed edition because I instinctively drew a flapdragon first and just went with it)
Little known fact about this innocently named Sapdragon/Flapdragon, she loves to bite. The only person she will actively refuse to bite every time is Kaisey himself, since that hurts her as much as it hurts him. With enough bribery though (read: any and all chocolate you may or may not be carrying in your pockets, or alternatively an enemy to bite instead) she can be convinced to keep from biting someone, at least for a while.
and because i realized the pose looked like he was sad when I hid the layers with Fluffy on them, i made a bonus. man misses his little lass anytime she's not actively out of her creature cage
OC Hour: Spark
I said I would do this a few days ago and I forgot to, oops. Anyway! Dancing Sparks, almost always shortened to Spark for simplicity's sake, was heavily inspired by Rain World's iterators (some of whom may end up with an OC Hour eventually), but isn't actually one herself. She's a Warforged PC for a DND campaign I'm in!
In terms of backstory, she is a very old machine, with her being exactly 1,000 years and two days old as of the time I'm writing this post. Her existence, for the most part, has been in the wastelands between major cities in the campaign, fighting for survival. The one she was built for was destroyed just over two hundreds years into her life, and she's been wandering ever since.
One of the more notable things about her is generally just how unforgiving she is. In the wastes she's used to, granting mercy to others was how to have people come get their revenge against you, and she is very against leaving problems alone to come back worse.
me? using my art blog? more likely than you might think
guy who's barely had the energy to draw lately voice yeah i've been a little tired, it's fine though
tossing a WIP onto here because it might be a while until it gets finished, and i like how it looks so far
okay now that we've posted the (very late) trick or treat pieces, here's some stuff we've drawn in the last while we haven't posted here! we were mostly testing around with new brushes (namely the spraypaint brushes we got... very fun to play around with. second image was a spraypaint silhouette test that we liked too much and turned into a lineless draft for an oc. colors aren't final)
