Being stuck in one place had always been very restricting to the man who presented himself as Elmer. The most he had ever spent in the same location had to be a couple of decades, which by any ordinary human standard would have been considered a long time, but in the face of eternity it was nothing but a small stay. But he wasn’t exactly the type either to just sit down and become depressed at the thought of being trapped, no far from. Because there were definitely people bound to have such a sentiment, his coming to Morticia was perhaps a godsent -- at least in his eyes. In other eyes, it may easily have been the work of the devil.
Strolling through hallways had proved a futile endeavour at first as it appeared people preferred to stick to themselves and their own safety, but not before long, the immortal heard a dull thud of something of considerable size and softness fall to the ground. Nonchalance an aspect coming easily to him, the man simply strode up to the scene, unfazed at what he could only presume was a living being dropping limply -- this was a sound he had heard before and one that was surprisingly easy to recognise. If someone had fallen unconscious, naturally he would do his best to help them out. If someone was dying, naturally he would make sure they would die smiling. And if someone else were there, naturally he would ensure that the killer -- had a murder taken place -- could also smile at their actions. That was the sword of being Elmer C. Albatross was.
‘cazzo , brat was quicker than it looked. aa , this is gonna be a pain to clean up , can't I just leave it for the staff?’
Coming closer, such profanities became audible, making it only far too obvious that Elmer’s line of thought had not been entirely wrong. But that was not what weighed the most in the immortal’s mind. Single word spoken in what could probably count as his mother tongue, made his visage flash into a smile of excitement as a male came into sight, standing over a limp, human figure.
“ Non mi aspettavo di incontrare un connazionale qui di tutti i luoghi. Non è così eccitante? Così eccitante che fa venire voglia di sorridere forse? ”
