Grim Gren is overwhelmed by his new responsibilities as the oldest  household member in the Dyning household. He’s just a teenage illiterate servant but has to take care of the young Dyning heir, the child Gunder. This also means that he needs to find money to pay for everything.

Grim brought young Gunder to the harbor and found a new way to make money.

When Gunder grew up to teen he proved himself to be a talented apprentice. 

The royal steward, Gunvald Wiik, has noticed some illegal activities in the neighborhood. He doesn’t realise that Grim Gren is guilty.

The Dyning household had two uninvited guests. Vimund Sydport and Lynara Varg sneaked upstairs. This romance is doomed. Vimund is betrothed to another girl and Lynara is two stations above Vimund. Free wil and ACR maked the game a lot more interesting.

The cold that Eira caught at work was much more serious than anyone had belived. Suddenly Grim Gren, an illiterate 16 year old boy, is responsible for taking care of a gentry household including the young heir. I guess I have to wait until next season to see what to do about that. Anyway, thanks to the income from tenants and Eira’s salary, taxes and rents from this season and the last could be paid.  Gunder Dyning is now the only remaining member of the Dyning family.

Eira thought long and hard about a solution for her household’s financial problems. Then suddently, she believed that she had found the perfect answer. She found her late father’s chain mail in a chest, covered her hair, and found a job that could lead to a knighthood title. Hard work and improving her skills payed off and Eira was soon promoted.

I have no idea why Eira wanted to participate in a cooking competition. In her household it’s the servant who do all the cooking and her skill is low.

The servant in the Dyning household, Holm, followed the reaper. Eira has no intention to take care of cooking and cleaning.Raising her litttle brother is enough. She hired Harald Honung to take care of the household, he really needs the money so it’s a win-win situation. Eira took her brother to the harvest faire to cheer him up.

Eira Dyning realised that she would need a new servant and the choice fell on Grim Gren. This solved the problem of taking care of household chores but money is still a problem. After the death of her grandfather the only income is from rents and taxes from the tenants (only the Angler household for now) and that will not be enough to pay rents and even less so too keep up appearances. It will be years before her younger brother, the family heir, is old enough to work.

In the Dyning household there were constant aspiration failures. Holm, the servant, went to the village green to fetch water and improve his social needs. Eira travelled far away and got a bad memory. Botulf made a new friend before he met the reaper and left his grand children with only an ageing servant for company. This seems to be the last season for many of my CAS-elders.
