  – DyoN Joo 1st single [i Cut the Bangs] 사랑은 혼란하다. 끊임없이 결핍을 해소하고자 하는 인간은 그 것을 사랑하는 이와의 합일에서 찾으려 하지만, 새로 생성된 ‘둘’이라는 주체는 그 스스로도, 또 그가 속한 우주 안에서도 언제나 위태롭다. 이런 절뚝거림을 더 이상 감내할 용기가 어느 한 쪽에서든 사라졌을 때 완전한 결합에의 꿈은 깨어질 수밖에 없고, 위태했던 사랑 역시 끝을 맺음과 동시에 기분 좋게 통째로 흔들리던 삶은 무너져 내린다. ‘DyoN Joo’의 첫 번째 싱글 [i Cut the Bangs] 속 동명의 수록곡은 이름이 언급되지 않은 그녀의 이야기 같지만 사실은 우리 모두의 이야기이다. 그녀는 우리가 한 번쯤은 그러했듯 강제로 분리 당한 그 사람과 둘을 둘러싸고 있던 세계에 대한 원망을 넘어서 고통과 분리의 원인을 스스로에게서 찾는다. 그 사람을 사랑하며 ‘둘’이라는 새로운 환경에 맞추어 변해가던 나의 모습이 아닌, 그 사람이 처음 사랑했던 나의 모습으로 영원했더라면. 이제는 의미 없을 자아성찰은 머리카락을 자르는 그녀의 행위로 나타나지만, 곧 그 것은 의미 없는 소거일 뿐임을 그녀 스스로도 잘 알고 있다. 이 길고 고통스러운 반추의 끝에는 무엇이 있는가. 이제 그녀의 그 것이 아닌 나의 그 것의 끝에는 무엇이 있었는지, 알 수 없는 표정을 지으며 뒤돌아보자. 사랑하면 할수록 더 잘 이해하게 된다는 말은 사실이 아니다. 사랑의 행위를 통해 내가 얻을 수 있는 것은 그 사람은 알 수 있는 사람이 아니라는 것, 나는 알 수 없는 것의 앎에 도달한다 (롤랑 바르트, 위의 책 중). 물론 알 수 없는 것은 그 사람뿐 만 아니라 스스로 역시 마찬가지라는 사실과 함께. 어쩌다 나는 당신이 좋아서 이 명랑한 햇빛 속에서도 눈물이 나는가. 어쩌다 나는 당신이 좋아서 이 깊은 바람결 안에서도 앞섶이 마르지 않는가. 어쩌다 나는 당신이 좋아서 이 무수한 슬픔 안에서 당신 이름 씻으며 사는가. 어쩌다 나는 당신이 좋아서 이 가득 찬 목숨 안에서 당신 하나 여의며 사는가. 어쩌다 나는 당신이 좋아서 이 삶 이토록 아무것도 아닌 건가. 어쩌다 나는 당신이 좋아서 어디로든 아낌없이 소멸해버리고 싶은 건가. People make same mistakes over and over. Knowing that I should not expect the other’s attention, but I finally do, and after when I realize the reality that the one does not care about me, now that drives me crazy to death.

It was no one’s fault, but I couldn’t but blame him since I was no mature being.

This song is made to let me come to his mind when he is all alone at the night I never want to be forgotten, even though I could not be the one for him

사람의 욕심은 끝이 없고 같은 실수를 반복합니다 기대를 하면 안된다는 걸 알면서도 들어올려진 것은 상대의 손이 닿아있지 않다는 것을 알면 바닥으로 굴러떨어지죠

누구의 잘못도 아니었지만, 저는 성숙하지 못한 사람이기 때문에 상대방을 원망하지 않고서는 견딜 수가 없었습니다.

밤마다 눈을 감는 순간마다 내 생각 하라고 쓴 곡이에요 선택받지 못했다고 해서 잊혀져야 하는 건 아니잖아요.
