nah i remember when he went around all the class to certain people and they were like “you guys could go further”, and then to me and you, and like another person i think? 

he was like “this is about as good as you will ever get, you shouldn’t bother going further”

man that shit pretty much demoralized me on everything to do with art, period.

it was even more annoying because the people in the class he was praising weren’t even that good themselves
