Yesterday I went to my local Waterstones to pick up my preorder copy of @carriehopefletcher book All That She Can See and I can't wait to read it!!!📖 I'm also very fortunate to be going to her book signing in Sheffield the day after I see her in The Addams Family😊 the admiration and respect I have for her is huge. How she has time to do the theatre shows, auditions, write books, eat and sleep I have no idea. It's taken me over a year to write the intro and first chapter of my book and I keep getting sidetracked by research (and my dyslexia)😂🙈 one day I hope see my book(s) next to hers😊 #onecanonlydream #carriehopefletcher #allthatshecansee #newbook #dyslexicwriter

This week I'm returning to Dyslexia with a little bit of how I write with it and just what the fuck it does to me sometimes. Might do more in the future if anyone has more questions? Writing with dyslexia and ADHD

It is hard. I can't use a word processor because correcting my spelling and grammar distracts me from my store and what I was trying to say, this do to my ADD.

So I write with a erasable pen. The problem is that my writing is sometimes so bad that I can't figure out what I wrote.

It is so frustrating.

I also can never tell if anyone can read what I wrote. Because spelling is truly my blind spot.

It also forces me too "dumb it down" because I can't figure out how more sophisticated words are spelled.

I am slowly learning how to use technology, like from speech to text, to allow me to better express myself. that is in fact what I'm using here.

the point of this post is to send out a shout out two other people who right with learning disabilities or any other disabilities that may hinder their creative process. please share and comment with your own feelings and maybe even Solutions? To show other people they are not alone and perhaps to even give them ideas
