☠ Eternatus ;)
☠ - And a name/ topic to hear what they hate the most about it/them.
In all honesty, Eternatus as a concept and as a Pokemon terrifies Dhimani on deep, metaphysical level. I already mentioned once, a while ago, that he suffers from scotophobia, or a fear of the dark, so the idea of a Pokemon being summoned that could thrust his beloved, shining region in unending darkness was deeply unsettling to him.
In addition, he’s never been particularly fond of either poison, dragon, or fairy type Pokemon (what he previously thought it was due to independent research), and the entire appearance of the thing just seemed… Unnatural. And wrong.
Resorting to the Darkest Day was the last thing he wanted to do, but he felt as if he had no choice. High on lack of sleep (and literal drugs), he came to see releasing it early as a sign that he had conquered his fears and was willing to put aside his own unease for the good of the nation. Instead, it broke containment and nearly killed the young man he saw as a son, and could have destroyed the entire nation if the protag, Hop, and the mystical doggos hadn’t come to save his ass.
That being said, it would be difficult for him to ever hate the thing, as it’s his firm belief that all Pokemon should be loved and cherished, not spurned. Without Eternatus, the region’s energy reserves wouldn’t have been replenished, and he’s seen footage that fans took of the new champion at camp with the otherworldly monstrosity, playing fetch with Leorb and snacking on curry.
He’s glad that, after centuries of lonely imprisonment, the poor thing has finally found its happy ending, even if he’s certain he’ll never find his own.
