The body for Stryx from DZ arrived before expected (I calculated Jan/feb), yay! Here a portrait cause it's winter and there isn't enough natural light inside (and so the few full body shots I did were ALL ugly). -____-' I'll wait this spring to sand down the p3n1s, so as to not risk resin dust scattered in the house.

Today I received the Mako eyes I ordered in July. I asked to mix the iris and the pupil of two different types of the MOON collecttion and the result is very satisfying, I like them very much. Now to continue to eternally wait for Dollzone to send the body I bought for Stryx (my estimation is mid January)

hi! i hope i'm not a bother, but i'm wondering if you believe 12mm eyes would fit into dz-carter's head? i found the perfect set of eyes for him (they need to be a solid color for what i'm doing), but they are 12mm and not 16mm. i'm just wondering if, as an owner of this doll, you could give me your opinion if you have the time. thank you!!

Hi! No bother, do not worry, I'm happy to help. I do not know if someone already answered you, but if not, I took a couple (bad, sorry) photos to let you see from different angles and decide. The dark blue eye is 12mm and the light blue glass one is 14mm (small iris I think).

The 14mm are a perfect fit and a little more proportionally realistic than the reccomended 16mm. 

12mm leave a bit of gap everywhere and are more tricky to position in natural ways, ‘cause to not leave big gaps on the sides you tend to put them in the “dead eyed void straight stare of doom”.

If you really-really want that particular pair of 12mm eyes and you can fiddle a bit with the clone stamp on photoshop and maybe take photos only from specific angles, you can do it (I did the same with mi Dahlia eyes, I put a pair of 8mm when she need 10mm, but I photograph her quite rarely cause she poses like shit), but I do not reccomend it, it is so much hassle. Or if the eyes are pretty cheap you can try and see if Pretty-eyes>Work or the reverse.

TLTR: It’s better if you try to find a similar pair in 14mm.

I BOUGHT THE CARTER-1 HEAD!! If I'm lucky it'll arrive here soon after my birthday. I put a WTB a couple weeks ago on DOA and today a very kind user pointed me to Alice's Collection were there was one selling for very cheap. It's not the first time that some random user on DOA is very helpful to me (I'm almost a lurker and not a popular user) So please, do not buy in the "DOA is a bunch of meanie means which consider only the popular users" slander. Yes some time you can go unnoticed, but from my experience if you are polite and clear in your requests (and not lazy), usually if there is someone whom can help you, they'll come to help you.
