Emery is essentially a very big workaholic. While his job isn’t the most spectacular or the most money making jobs, the tips tend to me pretty okay. Usually he averages 80-88 hours every two weeks. This means he gets 1~2 days off of work every two weeks. He does this mostly by CHOICE because he wants to earn enough money that he doesn’t have to  take from his aunt & uncle when it comes to college or the apartment he pays for, for Peter. 

He also works so much because he is the ONLY one who pays for Peter’s apartment, even tho he no longer lives there. He maybe stays at Peter’s apartment 2~3 days a month because it’s decently close to Paul’s. So he goes there when he’s really tired. His shift is USUALLY 11am-7pm. Occasionally he has to work to close which is 10pm. His schedule changes weekly and isn’t very consistent time wise, but is day wise. This is why he seems to have a habit of looking tired. Thankfully though, he’s currently not attending more than one class at school, which he takes from 7-10am on Saturday mornings. He JUST chose a college major, but usually wont talk about it unless you ask.

↬ Emery is that friend who buys matching/couple sweaters & jackets for his friends & his lovers. Here are some of the following.

↬ 5.

↬ When Emery was finally done with high school it was a bittersweet feeling. Peter was still in his life, no matter how much Emery wanted to be away from him. But a true believer of moving on from the past and not hating people, Emery tried to be as forgiving as possible. 

↬ That was until Peter’s parent’s found out that Peter was also gay. Stating that Emery was the one “who turned him gay” and couldn’t handle it. Taking it upon themselves to yell at Emery’s aunt & uncle and they couldn’t wait to be rid of Peter. Thus getting Peter to resent Emery as well.

↬ When high school was finished, he felt relaxed, finally able to get out of that small town and go to another small town, but only in New York. A whole country away basically, since the two were on different edges of the country. Peter though, was not yet ready to leave his side, because he too got excepted in to the school Emery is going to.

↬ So the parents & Emery’s aunt and uncle decided what better than to get them a joint apartment. They were friends and it was better to have someone you know. Angry at this fact, from the moment Peter and Emery moved in, Peter made it clear that Emery was never to set foot outside of his room and into Peter’s space. His space being every inch of the apartment that wasn’t Emery’s room.

↬ Whenever Peter see’s Emery in his space, he has a tendency to yell at Emery, calling him slurs and fat and telling him that no one will ever love him because he was fat and queer. That he dresses like a pansy and no one will ever love or accept him. If he’s not yelling at him he’s hitting Emery, beating every inch of him. Emery has a scar on his left wrist that he covers with a leather strap that Peter left one day after slamming the door repeatedly into Emery’s wrist. 

↬ This is why Emery never lets people to his apartment. And he was supposed to move out into the pack house, but his landlord won’t let Emery out of the lease, because his landlord doesn’t trust Peter living there alone. Therefore, even though Emery doesn’t live there anymore, he still pays for Peter to live there.

↬ Also, Peter is 7′ and a body builder. A hobby he picked up in his last year of high school. He majors in Bio Engineering.

Emery’s & Hajoon’s favorite video game is Splatoon. They play is for hours, and usually together in the pack’s game room. They both own their own Nintendo Switches, the third one is owned by Zelda--but the pack shares the three switches with their own accounts on each switch.

THE STORY OF THE PINK BIKE that Emery uses to this day; 

When Emery was six his aunt and uncle took him to a farm so he could learn about the animals and the hard work that farmers did, because his aunt and uncle owned a restaurant and would buy their ingredients from the farm. While he was looking at the cows his aunt and uncle had looked away for just a second and it ended up with Emery disappearing.

Why did sunshine child disappear? He saw a small white puffy dog running around and decided to follow it. This ended up with him behind an old abandoned barn on the very edge of the property. Three little white puppies were sitting around an old painted pink bicycle with training wheels on it. One of them was hurt, so he put the hurt on in the basket and rode the bike wobbly all the way over to the main barn, the other two dogs following behind him.

When he got to the main barn he found someone who worked there who told them they were looking for the little dogs because they were the kids of the farm’s main herding dog. Because Emery helped find and help get the one that was injured all better, the owner of the farm decided to give him the little pink bicycle that used to belong to their daughter before she went to college.

↬ 9.

Emery has 2 tattoos. One is the pack mark which he recently got (the park mark is an Ouroboros of a dragon, except it’s eating the sun and holding the moon) when he joined the pack. This is a tattoo that everyone has, and in the same spot, on their back right shoulder blade. 

The second tattoo Emery has is TO DIE WOULD BE AN AWFULLY BIG ADVENTURE in this font around his left upper arm. He chose to get this tattoo because his favorite movie of all time is Peter Pan (2003), as well as the fact he almost died in a hit and run. After he got out of the hospital, instead of getting sad or angry at the people who hit him, he chose to instead be thankful he was still alive. And so he got that tattoo with his aunt and uncle’s permission. Usually his tattoo is covered by his shirt sleeve, even on short sleeved shirts.

↬ 6.

Emery really likes dancing, though he doesn’t believe he’s that great at it. It’s the only form of physical activity, outside of riding his bike and running with the pack, that he enjoys and does because he wants to. He’s in Sora’s intermediate level class even though if he wanted he could be in the advance, he just doesn’t think he’s good enough yet. 

Since he’s also really into kpop he tends to pick a bias from the song, and learn their section of the dance, usually with Sora but sometimes by himself. A coworker of his, Juhin, when they started working together both realized they both enjoyed these things. Therefore Juhin and Emery decided to start learning dances together, sometimes Sora joins them. 

Emery practices a lot in his room, at Sora’s stuido, or in the back alley behind Paul’s. Usually with Juhin, Sora, or both of them. He took dancing as an elective in high school to get rid of any negative energy he had, and it’s always helped him stay positive.
