Inside Manchester Chorlton's only vegan workers' cooperative store I spotted this explanation of the e-mark. I have seen this repeatedly but until today never knew what it indicated. This just makes shopping a little bit more interesting. On balance over time the weight of goods I have bought should equate to the amount claimed on the labels. This might just be a convenient excuse to get compulsive about weighing any e-marked goods.
