I'm sure it has been said before, but constantly thinking about yang Cheng and Luo li parallels. The way they both had someone else to help them become a hero and were arguably stronger when they had their help, but while luo li beat the system with the alien metal, and nuonuo survived even after being attacked, yang Cheng lost everything. He is completely dependent on the trust value, with his story showing how the trust value harms people, and after Shang chao died, he also lost Xia Qing when he was seeking revenge. Just oh yang chang/luo li parallels and how successful(/unsuccessful) adults were at taking advantage of them
