This little nugget is still staying with Ethan.. basically bc I keep forgetting to make her an apartment, lmfao.
Last year around this time I prayed so much for someone its almost dramatic what a total of 12 months brought to my table. We went from "Will i ever be able to see you to you will never find me again"
Having the power to avenge it all and yet u let it slide anyway cause you trust GOD and have firm belief that he is the best to keep scores even.
Forgotten yes forgiven never.
Do u remember??
I recited Naad e Ali every single night
«En el amor se da la paradoja de dos seres que se convierten en uno y, no obstante, siguen siendo dos.» 💖
Island needs Railway !
Sample needs for E&N rail services. by Avis Rasmussen - 26 Dec 2017
"A modern railway going both ways (Victoria to Qualicum) in one day (e.g. today)when Malahat closed for snow) with a sensible schedule could have resolved the problem for me since Qualicum has an E&N station in the heart of that town!
As I have pointed out to those who never use the Greyhound or Tofino Bus to attend the Chemainus Christmas Theatre to see a current performance ... those who wish to attend the Theatre could do so on a restored E&N .... instead, the Greyhound now leaves Victoria in the evening arriving in Chemainus after the Theatre commences and only leaves Chemainus in the morning for Victoria.
This means that to attend Chemainus Theatre performances you need to stay over two nights if you have no vehicle (or Malahat is closed)!
A medieval public transportation system on Vancouver Island simply supporting the automobile infrastructure."
LS Comment: There are many seniors at both ends of the current defunct E&N who endorse those sentiments; all are now deprived of appropriate transit options, not only for concerts; but visiting friends and shopping at any of the communities along that rail line. A severe criticism of what has been a sad saga of Island rail services which ends as follows:
"Ideally, a commuter rail service would run on two tracks, with trains running all day at frequent intervals. It would have to be affordable and provide passengers with an acceptable commuting time. We don’t see the ICF’s plans coming anywhere near that ideal.
If we’re wrong, show us the business plan. Tell the public how and when a viable service can be developed."
Here is one answer to that:
Brendan Read – former Island resident and transportation critic, now living in New Jersey, USA, who has posted the following Facebook entries as of 24 January 2017.
"The Times-Colonist article is right, in general. There must be a convincing plan to justify putting the E&N back into service. But there isn't just one market for the E&N, and each market requires their own plan as they have distinct features, benefits, and costs."

LS Comment: The most important step that must be taken NOW, is commuter service on a line that already exists that with less than $100M could be launched within one year to relieve the congestion to and from the West Shore communities of Victoria; then tackle the other stages as proposed by Brendan Read.
