New tattoo 👀

As I begin working on my Last of Us-inspired sleeve, I knew it had to start with my own take on Ellie’s tattoo. Debuting in @naughty-dog's The Last of Us Part II, the now iconic design is a multi-layered symbol representing Ellie’s past, her relationship with Joel, and her transformation throughout the series. 🦋🌿

The moth, often associated with death and rebirth, also resembles a firefly – a direct nod to the rebel group. It’s also a central motif found on Joel’s guitar and represents Ellie’s bond with him, their shared experiences, and the weight of his actions that she carries. The fern leaves symbolize endurance, resilience, and growth – qualities Ellie embodies throughout her journey. The location of the tattoo is significant as well, as it is placed over the bite mark on Ellie's arm, a scar from the infection that should have killed her. This beautiful and meaningful piece of art is certainly a fitting way to pay tribute to one of my favorite video games of all time! 🎮

Been back to get Megabyte mark 2 added to my arm today to make a wee Mega-sleeve. I asked for "Web Creature Megabyte" to be mixed with Trojan Megabyte and my artist Seapazz totally delivered. Look at that feral boi! ReBoot tribute complete.

Thank you so much to my artist for drawing and inking this awkward AF character design for me a second time. I totally deserved the pain 😅. (I do not recommend inner bicep for tats y'all, it stings the whole time. 🙃) I love him. 🖤
