1987. Stricken By Might

is the first album by band E-X-E, the band formed in early '84 as Executioner, but shortened it later to avoid confusion with other bands with that name.

RAW! That's the best way to describe E-X-E's  it was definitely overshadowed by bigger badder & more technical albums like, Testament's "the legacy", Kreator's "Terrible Certanity", or Sodom's "Persecution Mania". This is one of those albums that might not hit you at first, but the more you listen to it the better it gets each and every time. If you want some pure and true speed/thrash metal with a lot of timeless spirit behind it, this is highly recommended.
