Erik poured himself a cup of whiskey, rolling the amber liquid in the glass as he walked around the cabin. Sipping his poison, he explored the cabin while there was still no one around. Perhaps they had left to explore the beach and the surrounding areas, but Erik had chosen to stay. Someone had to take care of the cabin after all.
A knock brought Erik out of his daze, having stared out of the window aimlessly. He opened to door to see a familiar face, considering the cabin mates he had, not unexpected. “Your brother is not in at the moment.” He moved to open the door wider. “However, you’re welcomed to stay if you want to wait for him.”
A smirk appeared on his lips. “Do you still make a mean cup of coffee?”He shuffled back to the dining desk, flipping over another cup to pour a new cup of whiskey. Picking up the cup, he turned and presented it to Scarlet.
“Here Servanthood...” Erik grinned. “Have some... We’re on break after all.”
“Why? Never had alcohol before? I expected more from someone brave enough to show her ears after all.”
