Have you seen Emmet Graves around Faerune? They’re a Psychic who Rejects the Unseelie Queen’s reign. People have heard they’re Competitive, Energetic and Adventurous but can also be Impulsive, Foolish and Careless. We’ll see where they fall when the revolution arrives, but until then they can be found working as a Sales Associate at Stitch In Thyme.

Shortly after being released from the hospital, Geal had Emmet stay with him and Miss Buttons while he recovered the rest of the way. Miss Buttons was kind enough to let mittens stay as well so Geal didn’t have to keep leaving to take care of her. She’s a well behaved cat and gave everyone lots of cuddles anytime they sat down near her. When he was finally able to go home he had to learn how to handle his anger about everything, promising Geal he would leave Dain alone despite wanting to yell at the guy.

He turned his focus more into school, unable to not give the stink eye to the new king whenever he was around. He’s never been open about his feelings with the new reign, more upset he can’t explore the faywild like he used to. Geal had told Emmet that he was Dains new secretary and felt hurt, the one person he trusts with his life buddying up to the guy who has done nothing but cause Emmet pain but after a brief conversation about it he quickly pushed those feelings down knowing he can trust the person he sees as his father.

He doesn’t do a lot of what he used to, swimming is rare for him to do now and no one, other than a select few, knowing that he was injured during the day of the lake event. Not even Atlas and Sloane know, even after all the time he’s spent at their place. He’s gotten close to Atlas the most, seeing James and Sloane more as friends despite the whole polycule thing. He didn’t care though, game nights were a nice distraction since he stopped going to the cemetery unless Geal had asked him to help with anything. 

Will he end up telling people he was among those injured? Probably not, he tries to hide it best he can, the occasional night terror which usually happens when he’s at home alone. Emmet has gotten better at holding his tongue and not saying everything on his mind whether it be good or bad, something he had to be taught so he wouldn’t say the wrong thing to the wrong person. He’s learned to cope better, and taught himself how to better use his abilities, able to take out blocks of electricity if he really wanted to.

Emmet was at the bottom of the lake watching the sun hit the crystals when things started rumbling around him. In a panic he resurfaced trying to swim back to shore as fast as he could but unfortunately not fast enough. One of the crystals that emerged had nicked his side sending him flying out of the water where he landed hard on a party boat that was floating nearby.

He tried to brace himself for impact, landing on his arm feeling a crack as well as feeling a rib or two crack by the sheer force of how hard he had hit the boat. Laying there for a moment in pain trying to process what had just happened, he listened as Opal made her announcement. Putting what he was feeling aside he rolled himself off the boat, back into the water trying to swim back to shore.

It was a long and painful swim back until he made it back to the dock first, using all the strength he had left to hoist himself up before collapsing and laying there in pain. His body was exhausted at this point so he figured someone would help him soon.
