I can't tell you how desperate I am to have Sara be the one to give E2 Laurel her super hero costume, echo Laurel's speech about being a hero in the light, and encouraging her to be the black canary. it's the full circle we need and deserve
I would love that! Especially because given the relationship between Sara and E1!Laurel, Sara thought of herself as less pure and less deserving of a mantle and a legacy, I think she would really be supportive of E2!Laurel. Especially because of this scene:
Which like, of course Sara, who dug E1!Laurel out and told her to show her that she could do it, who believed that hard choices had to be made, and that what you do when you survive is not the same as what you do when you actually have the choice of how you’re living, I think yeah, Sara’s going to be that kind of girl.
I mean Sara has literally said that she “is not a good guy” in the past and when put up against this quote, “ I'm not going to pretend that I've been through anything that you have. But one thing that I've learned in the past year is that these things, they don't break us. They make us who we are,” told us that she was irredeemable. Like 100, I think Sara is going to end up fighting for Black Siren, because she knows what it’s like to be put in an impossible situation and try and make yourself better, but still fighting the urges that come so naturally from being in that place for so long.
And I’m here for it.

Dancing Queens
Summary: When Dinah Laurel Lance had first appeared on this Earth she hated her doppelganger. Laurel had everything and she had thrown it away to play hero. Where Dinah had fallen prey to her darkness, Laurel had used her light to fight. But after discovering her doppelganger was still alive Dinah learned they may have more in common than it first seemed. Now Laurel has become more like a sister than an enemy and it was a sisters job to drag her out to have some fun wasn't it?
Prompt: I'd love to see more fics that give E1!Laurel and Black Siren more of a chance to interact. Could I prompt something like this? Maybe where they meet at a party or out clubbing or something fun — I'd rather see them get along than anything too antagonistic :)
Characters: Laurel Lance, E2!Laurel Lance
Notes: E2!Laurel will be referred to as Dinah to keep it less confusing as to which is which. Canon Divergent from season 4 ending. Laurel came back in the six months between season 4 and 5.

The relationship between the two Laurel's had come a long way. From being enemies to reluctant allies to a bond she had only felt with Sara. Dinah missed her little sister, she missed so many people but she was slowly starting to open herself up to the people on this world. That didn't mean it hurt any less to see her father and Oliver alive and not have that same relationship with them.

To Save You is to Hurt You

A fresh start turned out to ruin her life and it was just one bad decision after another. One loss after another until she was on another Earth and locked in a cage. Her freedom was the only thing she wanted until she learned her father was alive. Chase may not intend to keep his bargain but Laurel will never let anyone take her family away from her again.
Characters: E2!Laurel Lance
Notes: I just needed to write something after tonight’s episode.

Siren would never claim to be a saint but she had never wanted her life to become this either. Anger and grief, mixed with to much power had lead her down a path that she didn’t know if she wanted to walk away from. At least when she was working for Zoom there was a purpose, she believed in what she was doing. Prometheus had just promised her freedom and her father’s life. It was the second that promised she wouldn’t betray him.
Her first glimpse of him had made her heart stop for a second. The last time she had seen him she had been identifying his body in the morgue. Killed in the line of duty and she hated that he was a cop more than ever. Now he was so vibrantly alive. And Siren was going to keep it that way. Even if it meant that she had to kidnap him to do it. Laurel had loved Ollie but it had been nothing compared to what she would do for her family. And she couldn’t save them both.
When they had taken off to Lian Yu she had separated herself away from everyone and closed her eyes a memories assaulted her. He didn’t know that she knew exactly how he felt because it was how she felt too. To see someone you had loved more than your own life, the person who had kept you from falling to pieces, back and alive. Except she had to betray him to save him. And Laurel would save him. Even if it took being Black Siren to do it.
