There weren’t very many people that Matt hoped to find after the incident with the volcano, but Gamora was one of the few. He shuffled around in the snow, trying to stay warm, and trying to find where she was. Most people ignored him, too focused on their own friends to notice him.
When he heard Gamora’s voice, he turned and followed it over the barren expanse of snow. When he got close enough to her to be noticed, he paused. He didn’t want to interrupt her so he simply sat down in the snow again and tried to make himself warm while he waited. If she was available to speak with him, she would. If not, then he would leave her in peace until she could spare a word with him.
