I think the drama changed the meeting scene for a reason. LWJ told the Lotus Clan (and WWX) “No invitation, no entry.” Yet, he was the one personally let them in. His brother implied that it was LWJ’s idea. Perhaps to show that for WWX, LWJ would willingly to break rules or how whipped LWJ for WWX. A big whoopy on the show that WWX told Wen Qing that the first time they met was at the rooftops.

Yeah, I agree. There’s an element of foreshadowing in making that change, because we’ll see 16 years later LWJ willing to bend a lot of rules for WWX.
I think I remember that convo with WWX and Wen Qing -- when they’re all living in Yiling and he’s drunk. There are definitely some wobbly bits and plot holes, but I’m inclined to be forgiving because the character stuff is so emotionally effective for me. <3

Ah, Fallen Shadow. Admittedly, it holds a special place in my heart as well :) Okay, confession time: I actually have Chapter 27 sitting next to me right now, waiting to be typed. The beginning of Chapter 28 is there as well, and the only thing holding me back from getting back to a weekly posting schedule at the moment is the inevitable flight I’ll have to do (unscheduled at the moment, but imminent).
However, I am hoping to post Chapter 27 on Friday, assuming that nothing happens between now and then on my end (it’s been an interesting two weeks here). So, yes, I will be continuing with it :)
