                           with only the MOONLIGHT to guide her way, aya strides over to bayek. she does not say a word at first as she wraps her arms around him, placing her head upon his strong back. she shuts her eyes and inhales his comforting scent. then, after a moment, she pulls away only to stand before him so that she may KISS him sweetly. she grins. 

                           ❝ how was the hunt? ❞ she asks as she traces his flesh. ❝ khemu kept asking when his papo will be back; he’ll be so excited when he sees you tomorrow morning. ❞

                          aya SNICKERS. dark eyes sparkle with glee. she leans back and crosses her arms. she arches a brow as ruby tinted, slightly swollen lips lift into a smirk. now that khemu is a little older, aya can’t help but LONG for another child with bayek. every time he’s with their son, the desire gnaws at her even though children were something aya never truly thought. khemu had been a surprise – a pleasant surprise, but a surprise nonetheless. no amount of scholarly works could have prepared aya for motherhood. had it not been for the people here in siwa, aya would have been completely CLUELESS when it came to motherhood and raising a child – a future medjay at that. 

                          now —– well, now maybe she’d like one more. or perhaps two.
