ENDS TOMORROW! Easterly Artists' Summer Exhibition #eaheritage "Heritage!" ends tomorrow evening Sunday 19 Sept. "Home No. 1" by @easterlyartists member @suffolk_dorodango Mark Ross. Mark is a Lowestoft-based artist working with natural materials to create organic 2D and 3D pieces. He works primarily with soils, incorporating locally sourced wood and found objects collected while walking. "I Saw Three Ships", by @easterlyartists member Nina Roffey. Nina uses discarded items to decorate: a process of recycling into something new. Driftwood has to rest outside in the weather to remove salt; it's then dried slowly and treated for woodworm and rot before being carved, painted or collaged to replicate what is in her mind.
