immediately a questionable brow raises itself, dark hues catching sight of the other teen’s delight as they continue to swing leisurely on the shared hammock. for a moment she entertains the thought of pushing nami off but decides against it, trying to keep her lips from curling into a mischievous grin.
“i already spent the night with you finding fireflies.”
the sun is why her cheeks burn, that’s what she tells herself. she reaches down and swings past her bag in an unsuccessful attempt to grab her sunscreen. in some way it can symbolize that she’s unable to simply waltz around this conversation, and to be perfectly honest she is somewhat interested. she might as well live a little, yeah?
“if i’m free we can.”
but she’ll try to conceal her curiosity--try.
