I seriously cannot get over how good @earwaxblog first episode is - the idea of an audiomagazine for lovers of all things sound is already catnip for me, but the love that went into this is absolutely infectious! It’s so great when you go to the doctor and they know what’s wrong with you but Can’t! Fix! It! Permanently!
“Hey doc, one of my ears is really bad at the whole self cleaning thing. So through no fault of my own I get a blocked ear and stabbing ear pain for several days to weeks straight!”
Doctor: *looks in my ear*
“Yup!”
“What do you mean yup?”
“Ears fucked!”
“And?”
“Your ear canal is a bad shape, it’ll just do that sometimes. I’ll clean your ear now but best thing you can do is come back when it does this again!”
Today I swallowed weird and immediately burst into tears because of the sudden sensation of a stabbing pain in my ear! If anyone can hook me up with one of those ear flush thingies I’d be soooo careful with it and definitely won’t have a water gun fight with my ear canal at the first sign of struggle.
