** Pacific Ocean, Canada ** Some of the most idyllic and remote homes can be found far out on the western tips of mainland Canada. The Sunshine Coast is only accessible by ferry from Vancouver, Vancouver Island or Lion's Bay. If you want to make it all the way up to Lund (the start of highway 101), a second ferry is required from Earl's Cove to Saltery Bay.
