So, for some time i did some early sketches of certain future characters and npcs and i wanted to show all of them here.

First the newest one - Head Surgeon Scisselo. In my mind he is one of the most impactful figures in the Lectorium, he also discovered a way to combine soul and lifeblood and be able to shape and mangle shells of the bugs, controlling the lifeblood that way. Which certainly is a medical breakthrough but this guy used his discovery in order to quench his thirst for really deprived surgeries and experiments, as he was basically able to play god to some extent.

Second one is Frail Danseuse Maurie. In her backstory she is kinda similar to two different characters - Cogwork Dancers and Marissa. As she was a famous and beautiful performer amongst the elites of the upper Capital, but at one point the got ill with Shellrot. The disease really mangled her body and weakened her, all of her limbs rotted away and she wasn’t able to dance for a long time. In her desperation to be seen again by the audience she accepted the offer of the Lectorium to test out their new at the time artificial limb technology. Fortunately all went well, maybe not so elegant but she was able to dance again. But when she returned to the stage, she found no audience, no one wanted to watch her performances anymore. She still doesn’t know, was it her new look? Was her time to shine simply over? They found her disgusting? They thought her dancing is no longer beautiful? At last, she still dances at the empty theatre stage somewhere in the upper Capital.

And the last sketch. Is very, VERY EARLY concept of the main Higher Being of Eonbloom. The one and only Higher Being of Lifeblood… or is it?

These programs are residents of the city of Silicon on the main Grid! Risc, Optica, and Hint all work at a data processing center, Cherry is an ex data pusher, and Nero is an entertainment/host program. :D
