I checked out The Complete Peanuts Vol. 1 1950 - 1952 at my local library and recently finished reading through it. I really love the early Peanuts strips but, I’m particularly infatuated over how adorable (the more dog-like and much less anthropomorphic) Snoopy is in those early strips. Here’s a personal favorite that I couldn’t help but chuckling and ‘aww’ing out loud even though I was on the bus when I read it:
