I've been meaning to post this for a few days since I read it with my morning coffee. I have mixed feelings on this. Kids need to be kids. They do have sex too early these days. BUT this is primary school and I think she's talking about innocent relationships. Up until year 6 my friends and I thought the idea of a boyfriend was "soooo gross". Then when we did decide to have boyfriends it was very innocent. It consisted of this: maybe holding sweaty hands, a peck on the lips (usually followed by a covert swipe of your sleeve), writing XY 4 AB 4 EVA on your ruler and the right to call someone your boyfriend. I don't know what primary school kids are like these days. Would it STILL be so innocent? Thoughts please? Fatgirl.
