I'm tired of the Earth-personality slander in spirituality.

Earth types are:

Strong willed - we're not going to just do what other people want just because.

Determined - we will pursue our ends until we achieve them, not just abandon them at the first inconvenience.

Consistent - you know what you're getting with us and you know why; you don't have to worry if we're blowing hot or cold for no reason.

Reliable - if we say we'll do something, we will; if we say we won't, we won't.

Unbending - we're not prone to distraction, flights of fancy, or empty rhetoric; if you want us to change our minds, you better give us a damn good reason.

These are good things. Inconsistent, weak-willed people trying to make us feel spiritually inferior because we're grounded can fuck off. Being wishy-washy isn't going with the flow. Bending to other people's desires and opinions all the time isn't flexibility. Ditching your obligations to do whatever you want isn't being a free spirit.

Anything has the potential to be bad in excess. Earth traits aren't inferior simply because most people can't manage them.

Bigger and more resilient than Bunbun, Mudrid are hardy Temtem, used to extreme weather conditions. Their extremely fine sense of hearing makes them very valuable scouting Temtem once tamed... but also harder to catch in the wild.

Mudrid (#022), an earth and crystal type Temtem. It evolves from Bunbun.
